Industrial Tapes & Fabrics Pvt. Ltd. (INTAF®) is a privately held organization incorporated in 1975 and opened its first factory in Kolkata to manufacture various insulating products. In 1985, another factory was setup in Jamshedpur which is 6 hours drive from Kolkata which specialises in manufacturing and R&D of INTAF Polyglass Banding Tape and INTAF Putty. INTAF is the recognised market leader in India in the field of Glass banding tape (selling to 90% of Indian Market), & Insulating putty.
INTAF Polyglass Banding Tape is a part of IEIS (Electrical Insulation System) in India who certified our tapes along with other group of material under UL (Underwriters Laboratory) File no E318161. IEEMA in India approach UL to certify products for its interested members.
Some of our big customers in India are Indian Railway, BHEL, ABB, Alstom, Crompton Greaves, Kirloskar, Siemens, etc. They are successfully using INTAF Polyglass Tape and are very happy with the quality of the product they buy from us. We are approved by Ministry of Railways, RDSO to supply banding tape to Indian Railway and BHEL.
More than 100 Million Meter of INTAF Polyglass Tape has been sold from 1985 till 2013 and has been consumed successfully. We are now selling more than 500,000 meter every month worldwide.
