INTAF® Brand glass fibre tapes are manufactured from ‘E’ glass yarn which has an alkali (k) content less than 1% calculated as Na2O. All the qualities available are plain weave.
Identification : The tapes shall have a selvedge & a center line in red colour construction covered by IS 5352 - 1988 (Indian Standard).
Thickness : Available in following thickness:
0.08 mm (3 mil)
0.13 mm (5 mil)
0.18 mm (7 mil)
0.23 mm (9 mil)
0.28 mm (11 mil)
Width :
Available from 10 mm to 50 mm in each thickness.
Width tolerence ± 1mm for tape up to 25mm width.
Width tolerence ± 1.5 mm for tape over 25mm width.
Non standard width can be supplied on request.
Minimum order quantity will be quoted on application.
Length :
Standard roll length is 50 metres.
(30 Meters rolls available on request)
Average Glass Content :
More than 97.5%.
Electric Conductivity of Aqueous Extract :
Not more than to 70 micromhos per cm.
pH Value of Aqueous Extract :
8 - 10
